Mr. Rodick wins first prize in the Portrait category for his work "Three Studies for a Mouth". The Robert Cornelius Award was juried by Stephen Perloff, founder and publisher of The Photo Review
ABOUT THE WORLDWIDE PHOTOGRAPHY GALA AWARDS
The Worldwide Photography Gala Awards (WPGA) provides a juried competitions for professionals and amateur photographers from around the world to compete in the WPGA Annual Award for the WPGA Photographer of the Year Award and the Humanitarian Documentary Grant, provided by WonderPick Gallery. In addition to conducting this Annual Award, WPGA hosts other juried competitions such as The Jacob Riis Portfolio Award; The Julia Margaret Cameron Award for women photographers; The Nadar Award for Students, and the Invisible World Documentary Portfolio Grant; as well as other thematic contests that offer artists similar opportunities for awards and recognition.
WPGA hosts the above mentioned Awards to honor talented photographers and as a means of establishing and maintaining a continuing effort to help them further their careers.
