DAVID K. ROSS RECEIVES GRANT FROM CHICAGO’S GRAHAM FOUNDATION

We are pleased to announce PATRICK MIKHAIL artist  DAVID K. ROSS has been awarded a Research and Development grant from the prestigious Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts in Chicago, Illinois.  The 2018 grant will support Archetypes, Mr. Ross’s photographic project that documents full-scale architectural mockups as they are found on construction sites and testing facilities around the globe.

Selected from more than 600 proposals, the Graham Foundation announced this week that it had awarded more than half a million dollars to 74 new grants, Mr. Ross among them. The grants support projects by a diverse group of individuals and collectives engaging original ideas that advance our understanding of the designed environment, and foster critical discourse in architecture.

Founded in 1956, the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts fosters the development and exchange of diverse and challenging ideas about architecture and its role in the arts, culture, and society. The Graham realizes this vision through making project-based grants to individuals and organizations and producing exhibitions, events, and publications.
